Lucía Aguirre

Lucía Aguirre is a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant and has been a member of the BeCHANGE Research Group since June 2011. Her primary role has been the coordination of Active8 and Move!t, projects btoh aimed at promoting physical activity through communication technologies. In addition, she has contributed to qualitative analysis and strategic communication across different projects. Lucía holds a Master of Science in Communication from the Università della Svizzera italiana (Major in Technology-enhanced Communication) and has a background in cultural anthropology, ethnography and market research. She is interested in exploring innovative formats of data collection and research communication suited to action-oriented research (e.g. social marketing, health behavior change and research for development). She has recently focused on the potential of mixed methods analysis and user-centered design tools to communicate research outcomes in visual and narrative ways.
